WINNER: UGA DIGITAL MARKETING COMPETITION

In early 2018, my team was challenged to create a digital marketing campaign for FilmStruck, a Turner Broadcasting company.  We created the #StruckTogether campaign and proposed that the classic film streaming service be marketed to a niche college student audience of those interested in theatre and film.

VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS: KAPPA DELTA SORORITY

From November 2017 to November 2018 I served as the Vice President of Communication for the Sigma Phi Chapter of Kappa Delta.  Through this experience, I managed various teams and committee such as the Parent's Weekend Committee, T-Shirt Committee, Banner Committee and the PR Team.  I was in charge of managing all internal and external communications from the chapter ranging from Social Media to Panhellenic relations.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERNSHIP AT QVC

From May 2018 to August 2018, I worked full-time in West Chester, PA as a Social Media Marketing intern at QVC.  During my time at QVC, I:

  • Acquired and moderated organic and user generated content (UGC) for QVC social media platforms to also be used on-air

  • Supported social media campaigns according to editorial content calendars by coordinating with graphic designers, photographers, videographers for social marketing material

  • Created tagged links for metrics and consumer insights across QVC, QVC2 and BeautyiQ channels

  • Worked with QVC Social Media Correspondent to plan and produce weekly Facebook Live content

  • Used social media publishing sites HootSuite, Facebook Business Manager, Curalate and Lithium to upload content on various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter

RELEVANT COURSEWORK

As a Marketing student at the University of Georgia, I have been able to take a diverse variety of courses to help me expand my knowledge as a Marketer.  These courses include; Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital and Social Communications Strategy, Digital Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research Business Decisions, Consumer Buyer Behavior and Social Media Marketing Strategy.

I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Verona Italy and take courses in Political Studies and International Business.
